ABOUT MASSAGE SQUAD OWNER JEN POSEN

Having been a dancer for most of her youth, Jennifer Posen developed a natural attraction to the field of massage therapy for it’s facility to heal, both physically and physiologically.

Upon graduating UCLA, two apprenticeships, first as a chiropractic assistant and then as a physical therapy aid, facilitated her path to massage and its integrative approach to wellness. Jennifer’s education combines the teachings of therapeutic bodywork, acupressure, deep tissue, reflexology, and pregnancy massage-which was essential during her decade as a birth doula. These modalities, combined with extensive training, have shaped her 25 year private practice, and have given her unique career opportunities. She participated in creating massage and spa services in some of the most prestigious hotels, spas, and gyms in Los Angeles, and for many years, she massaged on the sets of numerous movies, commercials, and music videos.

The Massage Squad is Jennifer’s dream-come-true venture, blending her career long pursuit of eradicating physical and emotional stress, with the importance–and necessity– of bringing healing into the workplace. Her company’s mission is brought to fruition with an exceptional team of dedicated massage therapists who share Jennifer’s passion for bringing the bliss!
